Aeonium arboreum ‘Rubrolineatum’ has a striking seasonal rhythm. During summer dormancy, its rosettes close tightly like roses and its foliage turns almost brown. In autumn they open into lush green rosettes, which later develop the distinct dark markings that give this variety its character. Thick mature stems support an upright, tree-like form.
